For the Love of Colour

Its the new year, and we are excited to start fresh. While, on the hunt for the right colour for 2017, we came across a few trends. Bold, Dramatic and Enchanting Colors. Although, we will still resort to our favourite neutrals, we won’t be afraid of adding a pop of colour to our rooms.

Take a look at some of our favourite pictures to start off the new year and get your creative hearts beating:

Moroccan inspired rugs. Hunter and Sea Greens, is grounded and sophisticated. Sahara is hand knotted with two different fibers – jute and wool – the later forms the ethnic patterns in each design.

  2. Ralph Lauren Porch Awning
  3. Benjamin Moore Hunter Green

Choosing Color Can be a tricky. Make sure you test it out on your walls before committing. It will look different at different times of the day, and in different rooms. Still don’t feel comfortable?, Don’t hesitate to ask one of our designers, these darker hues are not easy to work with.

Paint Color: Flint AF-560

“It has instantly become one of our all-time favourites, the ‘Flint’ painted cupboards and walls were the perfect choice. They somehow gave a feeling of complete authenticity, nothing in the room jarred, there was just an overall feeling of getting it ‘spot on’.”

And yes, deep deep purples. How wonderful!

“It ebbs and flows with its surroundings, and light brings it to life. Rich, royal amethyst can fade into the soft lilac-grey of distant mountains or morph into lustrous coal. Indulge your mysterious side. Let Shadow set the mood.”
